A cash in transit robbery suspect was on Tuesday night shot and killed outside Hoedspruit in Limpopo. Three other suspects were arrested.
A group of suspects attacked a cash van on the R71 road in the Tzaneen area.
Police say the suspects fled the scene.
A chase ensued and police managed to catch up with the suspects.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo says: “There were some shots fired and apparently there was one fatality but full information will be released later.”
Mojapelo said several people were cornered and that They would provide additional details when more information is known.
