The former coach of the soccer club, Ivan Manniert has opened a criminal case after one of the club's officials allegedly knocked him down

Police in Polokwane, Limpopo, say they are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving involving former Black Leopards coach and a club official.

The former coach of the soccer club, Ivan Manniert, has opened a criminal case after one of the club’s officials allegedly knocked him down.

Manniert sustained bruises. Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says no arrests have been made.

“Indeed I can confirm that we have opened a case of reckless and or negligent driving on which the original charge was assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm after our preliminary investigation was done we changed the charge to the recent one. No one has been arrested as of now after the finalisation of the case it will be referred to the public prosecutor for a decision.”
