Cape Town Metro Police have arrested a 21-year-old suspect on a charge of drug dealing, after he was found in possession of drugs with a street value of approximately R60 000 in Delft.
Metro Police spokesperson, Ruth Solomons, says officers from the K-9 dog unit executed a search warrant on a property in Voorbrug on Friday night.
“One of the canines led his colleagues to 301 mandrax tablets and 34 units of tik with a street value of R9 710. A second canine found 1 239 mandrax tablets, 62 bankies of tik and 87 tik straws hidden among the reeds in a vlei close to the property, with a street value of R46 360,”says Solomons.
