Cape Town dams recover, residents urged to save water

The City of Cape Town says the city’s dam levels have increased by 0.5% over the past week.  The average dam level of dams supplying the City are currently sitting at 82.3%.

The City also says collective water consumption for the past week has gone up to 587 million litres per day.

This is a slight increase but it remains within the targeted daily allocation of 650 million litres per day.

Residents are being reminded to continue to use water wisely as the dry summer season arrives.
