Cape Town dam levels 10 percent higher than last year

The City of Cape Town says water levels of dams stand at 81.7 percent which supply the city, and says this is about 10 percent higher than last year.

The Western Cape’s largest dam, Theewaterskloof is 72 percent full while the Berg River dam stands at 99%.

Steenbras Lower is currently at 99% with, Voelvlei standing at 88% capacity.

The City has reiterated its call for consumers to use water sparingly.
