Global football legends, African stars and Football leaders, gathered in Kigali, Rwanda, on Tuesday night for CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe’s Outstanding Achievement Awards.
Some of the global football stars were amongst the guests that attended the event.
Motsepe conferred the Confederation of African Football (CAF) President’s Outstanding Achievement Award 2022 to President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and King Mohammed of Morocco and he also acknowledged the strides made by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
FIFA’s 73rd elective congress will be held in Kigali on Thursday, where Infantino will be seeking to be re-elected for the third term.
Motsepe says, “For the first time in the history of football in the world, in the history of FIFA, the organisation’s elective congress will be held in Africa, because we have a special brother committed to Africa, president Gianni Infantino.”
