CAF Champions League debutants AmaZulu beat two-time African champions ES Setif of Algeria by a solitary goal scored by Luvuyo Memela just before halftime at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
AmaZulu are currently second in Group B of the CAF Champions League with six points from three matches.
They have the same number of points as leaders Raja Casablanca who have played two games.
Setif are third with three points from three matches, while Horoya are at the bottom of the group.
On Saturday night, Al Ahly will play in their big CAF Champions League Group A clash against Mamelodi Sundowns at Al Salam Stadium in Cairo.
Some football supporters believe that Al Ahly have the upper hand in the clash, having beaten Downs on three of the six occasions that they have met.
The two teams drew just two games with Al Ahly only losing 5-0 against the Brazilians in 2019.
Sundowns supporters have also taken to social media to show their support to their team.-Additional reporting by Tshepiso Moche
