Big business is taking advantage of an opportunity to showcase their products at the ANC’s 4th policy conference at Gallagher Estate in Midrand, Johannesburg. They’ve set up exhibition stands in a hall which has been allocated especially for businesses. Companies exhibiting their wares include Emirates, ABSA, Cell C, Nedbank, Altech and Alexander Forbes.
These businesses are strategically situated – delegates could not miss the stands as they passed through to attend President Jacob Zuma’s opening address. Some products that were popular were from the Global Gold company that manufactures gold coins with the faces of the present and past Presidents of the ANC as well as dog chains, cufflings and key rings with the ANC flag.
