Burger will be appearing for the fourth World Cup and she has amassed more than 115 caps for the Proteas.

Burger received an award as the most valuable player at the 2011 World Cup in Singapore, but has never earned a podium finish with the team.

The 32-year-old will be one of the senior players at the World Cup including Captain Bongi Msomi, Maryka Holtzhausen, Lenize Potgieter, Karla Mostert and few others.
