The Public Protector has found Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown guilty of inadvertently misleading Parliament in her assertion that there were no other contracts of engagement concluded between Eskom and Gupta linked Trillian.
She has been also found guilty of violating the provisions of the Executives Ethics Code of the Constitution.
In her report, Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has asked President Cyril Ramaphosa to take appropriate action against Brown within a period of no later than 14 days.
Mkhwebane sent her report to the Democratic Alliance (DA) Thursday who was the complainant in the matter.
