Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown and the leaders of various state owned companies (SOCs), will appear before a parliamentary committee to discuss the progress made in improving governance at the SOC’s.
Appearing before the committee will be the board chairpersons, CEO’s and Chief Financial Officers of Transnet, Alexkor, Denel, SA Express and Safcol.
Eskom will not appear Tuesday as it is releasing its interim financial results.
Later in the afternoon, the committee is expected to resume with its inquiry into corporate governance at the power utility.
Former CEO of Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa, Lucky Montana is expected to give evidence.
