Orlando Pirates coach Milutin “Micho” Srejodevic says goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo is still part of the team.

Khuzwayo was supposed to have started for Pirates in the Carling Black Label Cup 2-0 win over arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, but his name was removed at the eleventh hour and replaced by Wayne Sandilands.

Micho says medical personnel said Khuzwayo was not fit to play.

Pirates debuted new players on Saturday such as Fortune Makaringe, Bongani Sam and Zakhele Lepasa. Micho says it will take time for them to adapt. Report by Vincent Sitsula
