The African National Congress (ANC) has joined the chorus of condolences to the family of legendary and internationally-renowned jazz musician Hugh Masekela.
Despite playing a major role in the arts and culture fraternity, Masekela contributed to the fight against apartheid by writing songs of protest against oppression.
ANC Spokesperson Zizi Kodwa says the nation has lost one of a kind.
