The Bongi Ngema-Zuma Foundation commemorated the diabetes month.

The Bongi Ngema-Zuma Foundation in partnership with the health department, commemorated diabetes month by conducting public testing and creating awareness of the silent killer disease. November is the Diabetes month.

According to the World Diabetes Federation, over 425 million people are living with diabetes. Most of the cases are type two diabetes which is preventable through healthy lifestule choices. This may include regular excersizes, a balanced diet and the promotion of overall healthy living environments.

The foundation partnered with Favors Cathedral Church where testings for diabetes, HIV and hypertension.
