Usain Bolt is world record holder in the 100 and 200 metres.

Retired Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt is expected to make an appearance at Saturday’s Sun Met horse racing event in Cape Town.

The legendary athlete is in South Africa and will conduct a few training clinics around the country.

He held a press conference at the Table Bay Hotel in the Mother City.

The R5 million Sun Met, the oldest horse racing event in the country, takes place at Kenilworth Race Course.

Legal Eagle, who has been runner up twice in the race, will again be the favourite.

The Sun Met is also the largest outdoor social event in Cape Town that helps rake in R68 million to the local economy.
