July is the month where South Africans honour and commemorate the late Nelson Mandela. Bikers for Mandela is one of the many activities taking place under the broader Mandela Day campaign and this year, they will be heading to Beaufort West, George, Knysna, Graaff Reinet and Bloemfontein between 16 and 20 July.
The goal of the initiative is to provide women and children with the necessary platform to feel safe. This morning we joined by Zelda la Grange, former private secretary to Nelson Mandela and Jolene Chait from 1st for Women, to share with us more detail on their journey.
