Berlin November horse race receives great turnout

It was a hive of activity at the annual Berlin November traditional horse racing event as hordes of revellers descended to the Berlin race course.

The growing event saw horserace enthusiasts, musicians and entertainers converging to put up a spectacular show.

It’s a traditional horse race on the rise.

High-end fashion, popular musicians, and traditional thoroughbreds on the track were the order of the day.

Eastern Cape Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture MEC Penny Majodina says:”This will bring social cohesion, it is good for the province in all aspects. From the fashion, music and economic viability of the event.”

Boxing Champion Zolani Tete shares his thoughts on the event: “This is a great event I am here to enjoy and inspire kids as well. The atmosphere is great and I’m enjoying the event.”

Revellers obviously enjoyed the various elements of the event.

One of the attendees of the event says: “I am coaching two of the horses participating here and I am passionate about horses. I am elated that one of my horses has already won a race.”

Another event goer shares why they attended the event: ”I am here for the fashion, horse races are synonymous with fashion so I had to dress the part.”

The event was obviously a fun affair.
