Bart-Williams to deliver Thuli Madonsela’s Lecture

Sierra Leone’s writer and filmmaker Mallence Bart-Williams is to deliver the Thuli Madonsela’s Good Governance Lecture in Pretoria on Wednesday evening.

The annual lecture is in its second year and promises to bring good governance leaders and practitioners to speak on the importance of governance innovation to attain a good and ethical leadership in South Africa.

Bart-Williams will be speaking on the topic “From charity to sharity, Africa’s wellbeing through creativity and leadership.”

Bart-Williams was born in Germany and pursued her studies in Economics and Finance in Paris, Singapore, and Britain.

She is also fashion designer and produces an all-natural cosmetics line in Hong Kong.

She is the founder and creative director of Folorunsho, a ‘Sharity’ that she initiated with street kids in Sierra Leone.
