Reading Time: < 1 minute

Cape Town City suffered a fourth successive loss in the Absa Premiership after going down 2-0 at the hands of Baroka FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Mpho Kgaswane’s brace was enough to sink the struggling Mother City based outfit.

Baroka replace City in sixth on the log while City drop to seventh – the place the Limpopo side occupied before the game.

Expect movement this weekend, from top – Mamelodi Sundowns are four points ahead of Orlando Pirates in second.

Then the three teams below the buccaneers; Kaizer Chiefs, Maritzburg United and Free State Stars – are all within the three point touching distance.

Platinum stars are rock bottom with 17 points, and four off Ajax Cape Town.

On Wednesday, SuperSport United will travel to play relegation-threatened Ajax at Athlone Stadium at 19:30.
