Banyana Banyana beat Italy 3-2 in Wellington, New Zealand to advance to the round of 16 at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The win against Italy is Banyana Banyana’s historic first World Cup win and their most important as it takes them to their first ever FIFA Women’s World Cup knockout stage.
