The Azanian People’s Organisation (Azapo) will launch its 2019 election manifesto at Mahwelereng stadium near Mokopane in Limpopo on Saturday.

Party president Strike Thokhoane will lead the proceedings. The party, which currently does not have a seat in parliament, hopes its manifesto will help it to remain relevant in the South African political land scape.

Secretary General Zithulele Cindi believes South Africans would benefit greatly under an Azapo government.

“Azapo is offering good governance that is free from corruption. Among other things, people must have the right to elect and vote leaders of their choice. People must not be intimidated, and our hope is that we will have an electorate that is questioning everything, it does not accept anything from any person, as though it is ordained from above that this thing must happen like that.”

“A lot of bad is happening in our country, a lot of unhappiness is happening in our country because people have accepted poor and non-existent government,” adds Cindi.
