Reading Time: < 1 minute

In this week’s wrap.. Amnesty International has given its top 2015 human rights award to both Chinese dissident artist Ai Weiwei, a fierce critic of Beijing who has been banned from leaving China after an 81-day detention in 2011, and US folk singer Joan Baez.

The life and times of SA’s first democratic president Nelson Mandela in the presidential seat will be published in a book.

EISH! IT’S UYS! That’s an audience with Pieter-Dirk EISH! There will be twenty boxes to choose from, so a few visits to that special Theatre at Montecasino between 17 March and 12 April might allow you a grand slam of Uys’s complete satirical cluster.

Lastly…The winners of the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA) were announced on Sunday.
