A new South African music album, “Diversiteit” (Diversity), is spreading the message of unity in a time of desperation and division. Tunes Studio says the nine-track CD has been compiled to remind South Africans to be more tolerant, kinder to each other and to accept each other’s differences and similarities in a time of great uncertainty in the world.

The compilation album, they say, aims to celebrate the country’s diversity and to break down cultural barriers. Some of the featured artists are Churchil Naudé, Riku Lätti, Bacchus Nel, Frazer Barry and Jolyn Phillips.

One of the highlights on the CD is the song, “Ubunye”, written and performed by Charel Kleinhans, with Danie du Toit.

Critics have described the album as wholesome music and food for the soul.
