Argentina’s national soccer team held a training session at their World Cup base on Friday (June 15), a day before their opening match against Iceland.

Players including star forward Lionel Messi travelled the short distance from their hotel in Bronnitsy, south-west of Moscow, to the training ground via golf cart.

Twice world champions and beaten finalists in Brazil four years ago, Argentina will play Iceland at Moscow’s Spartak Stadium on Saturday (June 16) before facing the remaining teams in Group D, Croatia and Nigeria.
