Hundreds of African People’s Convention (APC) members have gathered for the party’s final rally at the local show grounds in Vosloorus, on Gauteng’s East Rand.
Party leader Themba Godi is expected to address the crowd, as the country gears up for the hotly contested May 8 elections.
The party hopes to get one million votes at the polls, which Godi says will secure his party 30 seats in the National Assembly.
Locals say they hope that Godi will address the issue of unemployment among the youth who have academic qualifications.
