The much anticipated Mapungubwe Arts Festival takes place in Polokwane on Saturday.
The Department of Arts and Culture has made changes to the line-up once again. International R & B singer, Anthony Hamilton and Nigerian artist D’banj will no longer be performing at the festival.
Local artists and music legends, Bongo Maffin and Jonas Gwangwa have been roped in to replace the international artists.
Two other artists, Canadian songstress Tamia and Nigerian sensation Davido cancelled. The department has cited visa and financial issues as the main reasons behind the artists pulling out.
Some fans have voiced outrage on social media platforms.
