The Hawks in the Eastern Cape have confirmed that a 29 year-old man has been arrested over the Ngcobo killings but declined to give further details.
The arrest is in connection the Ngcobo killings that took place about a week ago, where seven men died in a gun battle with police at the church.
Other six suspects, including a leader of the Mancoba Seven Angels Ministries, have appeared in court this past week in connection with the attack.
The Hawks spokesperson, Anelisa Feni said they will issue a statement during the course later on Sunday.
