Limpopo police have arrested another suspected member of a cash-in-transit syndicate that has allegedly committed a series of heists in the Sekhukhune area of the province.

The suspect was arrested in the Dennilton area, after the first one was arrested in Burgersfort earlier.

Police recovered two AK 47s and an R1 rifles and ammunition and also found cash amounting to over half a million rand.

Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says, “We are winning the fight against trio crimes especially the cash in transit heist. The ATM blasts this week we have managed to crack three syndicates we managed to arrest five who blasts ATMs and also filling stations. And we foiled a cash in transit where they blew out a car but they did not manage to take the money, thus along with the arrest of two and one of them is a highly wanted fugitive.”
