The African National Congress (ANC) has expressed its gratitude to South Africans for uniting in the fight against coronavirus. On Monday, the party’s National Working Committee met, through video conferencing, to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on the country.
The ANC says South Africa has been successful in restraining the rate of infection. “This was achieved through decisive leadership, commitment, sacrifice and collective action by all South Africans,” outlines the party in a statement.
