The African National Congress (ANC) says it will soon have its Sexual Harassment Policy in place. The governing party was recently caught off guard when its national Spokesperson Pule Mabe was accused of sexually harassing his junior staff member.
Although the party’s grievance panel cleared him at the time, the governing party admitted that it did not have any Sexual Harassment Policy in place.
However, briefing the media in Johannesburg earlier Sunday, Chairperson of the ANC’s Sub-Committee on Peace and Stability Tony Yengeni said their draft policy is out for public comment.
