Vote counting for the election of members of the African National Congress (ANC) National Executive Committee has been completed.

The results are expected to be announced on Wednesday, which is the last day of the 54th ANC national elective conference at Nasrec in Johannesburg.

Meanwhile, ANC spokesperson, Zizi Kodwa has expressed discomfort at the continued attacks against the judiciary. In his last political address to the conference, former ANC President, Jacob Zuma accused the judiciary of being biased.

In the last two weeks, the High Court in Pretoria has delivered two scathing judgments against Zuma.

Kodwa says the judiciary is doing its work as prescribed by the constitution.

“What leaders of the ANC and leaders must not do when we don’t do things in terms of the constitution and people go to counter and courts direct us to do things we are supposed to do. Whether you’re public officials or public representative you, must not blame judges for that because they are doing according to the guidance of the ANC. They’re helping us to do thing we are unable to do,” says Kodwa.
