Tshwane Metro Police Department and the South African Police Service are on high alert and they continue to monitor the marchers.
Some have told SABC News that they are here to show their discontent with how the Democratic Alliance (DA) is running the Municipality.
The City is currently without a mayor following the resignation of Dr Murunwa Makwarela.
