The Eastern Cape, outside of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, remains a stronghold for the ANC. According to the CSIR, despite an expected drop of 1,8%, the ANC should garner 64.1% of votes. But in the NMB Metro, the ANC trails, with an expected 39.2% against the DA’s 43.5%.
