As the IEC announced 100% of voting districts declared in the Free State, the ANC’s final winning percentage was 61.14%. The party’s support declined by 8% since 2014.
The DA with 17.58% and the EFF with 12.58% held on to second and third place respectively.
Voter turnout in the province was 61.35%.
