ANC leading in Northern Cape with 87% of votes counted

With 87.55% of the voting districts declared in the Northern Cape, the African National Congress is leading with leading with 56.22%. In the 2014’ election  the party won 64.40% of the votes.

They are followed the Democratic Alliance with 27.64% , Economic Freedom Fighters with 8.52%, Freedom Front Plus with 2.86% and the Congress of the People with 0.92%.

There are two outstanding municipalities, namely Mier, Khara Hais.
