ANC launches NGC App

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The African National Congress has launched an App (Application) ahead of its 4th National General Council (NGC) taking place at Gallagher Estate, Midrand.

The mobile App is designed to keep delegates attending the three day conference abreast of all things happening at the Council.
Users of the App will be able to access discussion documents, live streams of open sessions

“Among the unique features of the new App, is that it allows users to pose questions to and exchange views on the proceedings. Importantly, these questions and comments will be collated for consideration in the final conference reports,” notes ANC National Spokesperson Zizi Kodwa.

The ANC’s Tech Savvy move is expected to engage delegates and keep the public informed about the proceedings taking place at the event.

The APP has a list of speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors expected at the NGC.

Delegates can use the App to share contact details and manage their own schedules for the duration of the conference.

“The launch of the NGC App is part of the ANC’s broader media strategy that prioritizes the use of digital tools to reach out to its membership, and the public at large,” notes Kodwa.

The interactive App is available to download for free on Apple’s App Store and Google Play store.
