The ANC’s Waterberg regional leadership in Limpopo is again locked in a meeting with deployees from the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) and the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) in Bela-Bela.
They are discussing disputes over credentials, verifications and registration process that have delayed the start of the regional conference which was due to have begun yon Saturday.
NEC deployees that are in a meeting with the regional leadership include Kebby Maphatsoe, Faith Muthambi and Ruth Bhengu.
The party’s Provincial Executive Committee is represented by provincial chairperson Stan Mathabatha and provincial secretary Nocks Seabi.
Meanwhile, delegates from the two factions are gathered outside the venue where the meeting is being held awaiting the outcome. It is not yet clear if the conference will go ahead as planned.
