President Cyril Ramaphosa told the Muslim Judicial Council that the African National Congress (ANC) is more than determined to root out corruption in the state.

He also warned that private sector corruption should also be tackled.
Ramaphosa was addressing guests at an Iftar dinner at Rylands in Cape Town, after breaking the fast with scores of Muslims and invited guests.
“I can say without any equivocation that after our 54th Conference, the African National Congress is more than prepared, more than resolved to tackle corruption. We will root corruption out of the face of South Africa. If there is an issues that has been raised with us as leaders of the ANC over and over and over and over again by our people, it is the issue of corruption,” adds the President.
