ANC announces full time positions at Luthuli House

Reading Time: < 1 minute

African National Congress (ANC) Secretary-General Ace Magashule has announced a number of full time positions at Luthuli House, including National Executive Committee member Senzo Mchunu who will be heading an organising subcommittee and Zizi Kodwa who will be in the office of the Presidency at the ANC’s headquarters.

Magashule narrowly beat Mchunu in controversial circumstances in the race for the Secretary-General position at the Nasrec elective conference last year. Magashule was speaking in Irene, outside Pretoria, where the ANC’s NEC has been meeting.

“The proposed list was finalised and tabled and from now we will have full time ANC comrades at head office. Pule Mabe is our spokesperson, so he is full time at Luthuli. Senzo Mchunu is going to be full time as well as Dakota Legoete. They are going to act as chair and deputy chair in terms of organising. They will be working with the Secretary-General’s office. Zizi Kodwa will be full time at Luthuli in the Presidency.”
