Amazulu relegation woes ease

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Amazulu eased their relegation woes after thumping Bloemfontein Celtic 3-0 in an ABSA Premiership match on Wednesday night.  The win sees Usuthu move up four places to 11th on the log with 13 points from as many matches.

Earlier this season, Amazulu were docked six points by FIFA after they were found guilty of unlawfully terminating Namibian player, Phineas Nambandi’s contract.

The three points gained is a morale booster for Usuthu who lost six valuable points through boardroom decisions.

Emiliano Tade scored a brace for the Durban side in the 57th and 70th minute while veteran striker Siyabonga Nomvethe wrapped up matters with a 90th minute goal.
