The man who is accused of killing five women at Numbi Village near Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga is expected to appear in the Masoyi Periodical Court on Tuesday morning.

Police spokesperson Leonard Hlathi, says the 25-year-old Julius Thabiso Mndawe will appear on four of the five murder charges.

The police exhumed the bodies of three women at his house over the weekend. He was arrested two weeks ago and appeared in the same court for allegedly killing two other women.

He was arrested after his girlfriend went missing early this year. Hlathi says two of the victims were buried inside his house, and the other three in shallow graves in the yard.

His alleged victims were aged between 15 and 24 years.

“Four murders, one the one that we exhumed on Friday and the three that we exhumed on Friday and we believe that on his appearance the court might decide to add on one charge that he is going to appear on Friday, so we have all these charges going concurrently.”
