Algeria’s coach, Christian Gourcuff communicated on Monday (December 15) announced the list of players selected to take part in the African Cup of Nations, CAN Equatorial Guinea 2015.
Uncapped Ahmed Kashi and discarded fullback Liassine Cadamuro were confirmed as replacements for Algeria in their African Nations Cup finals squad after injury to Essaid Belkalem and Mehdi Abeid, the Algerian Football Federation said.
Algeria are Africa’s top ranked nation but have been drawn in a tough Group C with Ghana, Senegal and South Africa.
Their opening game is on Jan. 19 against South Africa in Mongomo.
