Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital is a public/private partnership hospital situated in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. It is a tertiary and quaternary hospital and patients are referred from other hospitals via an electronic/telephonic booking system.
Albert Luthuli Hospital which is at Cato Manor, is the first public hospital in South Africa to be involved in a mixed public and private partnership.
The hospital also is also of world standard and opened its doors in 2002. The hospital R630 million to build and is the first paperless admission hospital in the country.
