Dutch Coach Andries Ulderink, who joined Ajax midway through last season, is back at the club, and is excited to have a full preseason with his team.

Having just missed out on a promotion playoff spot last season, Ajax Cape Town have returned for preseason training as they look for a return to the Absa Premiership.

Dutch Coach Andries Ulderink, who joined Ajax midway through last season, is back at the club, and is excited to have a full preseason with his team.

While a large of contingent of players left at the end of last season, Ulderink began work this week with a youthful squad, having promoted a few more young players, while he has also invited a few trialists to the club.

Ulderink says there is already a different energy at the club, but that is expected when players leave a team, and others step up to fill the void.

The former Reading Assistant Coach says personally, he is also feeling a lot more prepared, having experienced the NFD last season. – Report by Rob Delport
