Afropop and Afrobeats musician, Ciza, says he is glad that his career has advanced in the past two years despite the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic.
It is been a tough two years for artists with the number of people allowed to attend events limited to curb the spread of the coronavirus. However, Ciza’s offerings including a single titled Adje, have received good reception.
“COVID has been both a blessing and a curse for me because that is when my career boomed and that is when people decided to take time to listen to new artists. But at the same time, as my career was booming and everyone was starting to listen to my music, it was time for me to go to shows and stuff like that but I couldn’t do that because of the pandemic. “
The 20-year-old has thanked his fans for their support.
“It has been a really good two years for me; people are really falling in love with the music. The music videos I took out are both over a million views. So, the love is incredible, I really appreciate the love from the people. “
