The African National Congress celebrates 108 years since its formation. The festivities are taking place in the historic city of Kimberley in the Northern Cape – a place of resistance and struggle, and home to heroes of people like Sol Plaatje, Frances Baard, Mittah Seperepere and many others.
The January 8 Statement this year marks a decisive moment for the country at the beginning of a new decade of hope and expectation, of promise and opportunity despite the many challenges faced.
