President Cyril Ramaphosa has highlighted the importance of the upcoming launch of the African Continental Free Trade Area for the African economy.
President Ramaphosa was speaking at the Financial Times Africa Summit in London.
“This has been a phenomenal milestone by the leaders of Africa because this Free Trade Area agreement will bring together into a single market 54 nations of some 1.2 billion people and perhaps a combined GDP of over 3 trillion dollars,” says Ramaphosa.
