SAfm, Channel Africa and the SABC News website are the South African broadcast media partners for Africa Connected.
Listeners to these radio stations will get regular updates on Africa’s internet entrepreneurs and innovators and the contest to identify the top five African success stories on the web.
The SABC News website will feature stories and videos of successful web projects, as well as podcasts of the SAfm and Channel Africa coverage of Africa Connected.
Africa Connected – Success Stories from the Web will feature in the weekly SAfm techmedia slot at 14:30 during Afternoon Talk on Tuesdays, and will be published on the SAfm iono.fm podcasting channel.
On Channel Africa, news and interviews about the web success stories will feature in programmes such as African Dialogue, Socially Africa and Gateway to Africa.
