The CSIR predicts the ANC will win 46.5% of all PR (proportional representation) votes across the country.
With 41 percent of voting district results declared, the prediction suggests the party will still maintain a fairly substantial lead over both the DA (predicted 22.4 percent) and EFF (predicted 10.5 percent). However, both the ANC and DA are not expected to fare as well as they did in the 2016 Local Government Elections where they 54 and 27 percent of the PR votes respectively.
