South Africans have taken to Twitter after hearing the passing of the Regent of the Zulu Nation Queen Shiyiwe Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.
She was the wife of the late King Goodwill Zwelithini who succumbed to COVID-19 complications last month.
The announcement was confirmed on Thursday evening in a statement by traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Nation, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
In a short statement on behalf of the Royal family, Buthelezi assured the nation that there will be no leadership vacuum in the Zulu Nation.
